POP and SMTP server addresses

There are two (2) ways to access emails. One is through the use of your browser which is called webmail and the other is through a software or application called email client such outlook, eudora, thunderbird, etc. That's why you may notice that your email provider may have limited support over your client emails because even though they have provided the email, they don't have control over the behavior of email clients especially if the computer itself is acting up. But in case though that you still opt to use clients I have the list of the email server addresses you may use to set it up. I have a few sample of email providers below that might help you.

AT&T and Time Warner Road Runner have several domains. For AT&T the domains are listed below but will use the same POP and SMTP server addresses.
  • @ameritech.net
  • @att.net
  • @bellsouth.net
  • @flash.net
  • @nvbell.net
  • @pacbell.net
  • @prodigy.net
  • @sbcglobal.net
  • @snet.net
  • @swbell.net
  • @wans.net
For Time Warner Road Runner, when typing the address, you will need to change the domain. For example your email is johndoe123@nyc.rr.com, your pop and smtp servers must be pop-server.nyc.rr.com and smtp-server.nyc.rr.com.
