How To Check For Specific Program On Your Online Guide

Uverse has it's cool way to check when and what channel will show your favorite program or movie online. In case that you have no time to browse your TV guide, you can do it anywhere you want as long as you know your primary email.

1. First click the link to direct you to the online guide.
2. If it is your first time to access that site it will require you to enter your zip code and log in using your primary email address.
3. Just type down the program or show that you want to watch.

3. You will be able to find all the episodes (if it is a series), the version (it will show hd if it is in hd), the date and time and the channel of that program.

1. episode 2. date and time 3. channel 4. version
4. If you want to record the program, just click the particular episode. It will give you the recording options as shown below.

Saving HD Recordings From Uverse To A PC

I was just reading and researching some troubleshooting steps regarding recording programs and how users can save it from the set top box to a computer when finally I was able to browse on one of  the Uverse community site that gives that info. But don't get too excited, the capture of HD programs is only possible through the use of a component (pb, pr, y) and optic audio inputs. It's possible with the use of Hauppauge HD PVR. First you need to make sure the connection is like what you see below.

connect the HD PVR to a non DVR STB

Try to record a program using your Uverse DVR. After recording the HD program, play it back on a regular STB where the hauppauge HD PVR is connected and capture the program that you're playing back. Now you can save the .ts file to your computer and convert it.

rear of the box

instead of the gaming console, you can set it up with your Uverse STB

I hope this will help you so you don't have to worry that you have to delete recordings that you want to watch over and over if you have too much recording on your Uverse DVR.

I just got this video from youtube (6/8/2012). I think you can follow the procedures that he did to connect your PVR to your TV and computer.

Boy Genius: Moshe Kai Cavallin

I recently came across with a boy who just turned 14 last February 14 is set to graduate with honors from UCLA. I am awed.
On June 5 2009, he was the youngest student at East Los Angeles College who graduated with honors with a degree of Astrophysics. He also had his second degree at age 11 with an A.A grade. Though he excelled with his studies, he is not all work no play. He also watches TV but limited. He is engaged into sports. I hope all children are like this. Focused and determined to succeed.
